In 2020 in the midst of the Covid pandemic, ex masterchef and Brighton resident Christian Amys gave up his food business and created a forage project focused at teaching people how to forage in a safe, sustainable and responsible environment. Based in Stanmer Park, Christian and his brother Sebastian host Forage Walks, Food Demos and Fungi events. They also teach school pupils, vulnerable people groups and on behalf of local charities. Chefs and Foragers these guys are serious about flavour and easy recipes you can recreate at home.
