Jana Nicole, Co-founder and Artistic Director of the All Things Fungi Festival, is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning artist celebrated for her evocative body of work exploring the delicate interconnections between the kingdom of fungi and the surrounding flora and fauna. She made history as the first woman and first non-French recipient to be awarded the prestigious title of Prix Puvis de Chavannes, honouring her ground-breaking contributions to contemporary art. Her work has been exhibited at esteemed venues including the Fitzwilliam Museum, the Saatchi Gallery, the National Geographic Society in Paris, and even the UK’s first indoor skate park, showcasing her ability to fuse high art with unconventional, accessible spaces. She recently travelled to the Reino Fungi Festival in Chile, invited as a keynote speaker and featured artist. Recent collaborations include Brian D’Souza, aka Auntie Flo, designing the world’s first UV, scratch-and-sniff album cover. Her portfolio also includes powerful, intimate and collaborative portraits of cultural icons such as Joe Strummer, Julien Temple, and Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim).
