Stephen curates unique cultural events, broadcasts and rare stories.This has included the top-ten-rated Bureau of Lost Culture podcast, radio programmes for BBC, Soho Radio and Resonance FM, events for BFI, Hay Literary Festival, Tate Modern, the Wellcome Collection and the monthly Salon for the City - now the longest-running London-focused cultural series.He curates the culture at London's Century Club and the annual London Month of the Dead Festival, reflecting a long involvement with the Good Death movement.He has programmed and presented a wide variety of events for nstitutions including the V+A, London Eye, the National Trust, Royal Parks, Cafe Royal, London Business School and Merlin Entertainment.Increasingly interested in Soviet Culture. Stephen created the X-Ray Audio project to document the bootlegs of forbidden music made on x-ray film in Cold War era USSR. The project has now extended to two critically acclaimed books, an award-winning film, a major international touring exhibition, and a BBC documentary.He is a director of Universal Hall Theatre in Findhorn Scotland, and a trustee of The Horse Hospital arts venue in London.
