Mystical Mycelium

Sophie is a mushroom artist known as Mystical Mycelium. Her works focus is on fungi and woodland finds, to provide an eternal recreation of the forest.

To produce each art piece, Sophie ethically and sustainably forages all materials by hand from various locations across the UK and Ireland. She then casts them in high quality Epoxy Resin to produce art and functional art pieces that other fungi lovers can treasure permanently.

In each piece, Sophie seeks to tell a story of the forest, with the identity and environment of the fungi in mind, she aims to present a natural reflection of the environment of the fungi in each piece.

All of Sophie's creations are unique one of one pieces. She has been working on her art for around four years, with each piece being to a considerably high standard finish. Her product catalogue is ever expanding, so she expects to have some new and never before seen pieces with her at All Things Fungi Festival!
