Mycoremediation: Can fungi help save our rivers?

Flete Field Lab CIC is a collaborative research and education organisation exploring low-tech, nature-based solutions for ecosystem restoration, with a particular focus on fungi and freshwater remediation. Associates Alice Pefanis and Honor Wolf bring together expertise in mycology, fungal ecology, ecosystem restoration, and community engagement to support research, education, and practical environmental action. Their work spans mycoremediation field trials, fungal education, workshops, forays, and public outreach, helping to connect scientific research with accessible approaches to restoring the health of people, water, and landscapes.
