Cultivator's Skill Share & Networking

Cultivators are folk who wear many hats while spinning many plates. Thinking of the old meme of running away to the circus? Start growing mushrooms instead… it’s a hell of an act to get involved with! Growing mushrooms takes time and focus. In an industry that’s expanding rapidly yet still young and geographically scattered, it can feel like we’re working in isolation on our farms and in our labs. The building and running of any size grow or farm is complex enough for most folk. Add in product and brand development; business admin; finance management; customer service; keeping up on research and the public conversation and there is no doubt that all of us will move through times of overwhelm. We all have strengths, weaknesses, blind spots and unique experience. Atlantic Fungi Coop and The Culturing Dish are excited to facilitate this gathering where we can express needs and offer support to one another as fungal cultivators, with the hope to grow more connection and cooperation within the community. Please fill out the form with any questions or areas you’d like insight on, as well as skills or experience you feel could benefit others. We’ll spend around 60 minutes exploring a few key topics through discussion, followed by 30 minutes to network, connect, and nourish ongoing support networks. https://forms.gle/7QGNhyyxv2BRcrkc8 Atlantic Fungi Coop is the coming together of myceliated Humans, called to champion fungi and facilitate the conscious connection of Fungi and Humans through food, extracts, education and the observance of the wild Funga of North Cornwall.
