Meet Tim – The Linden Outdoorsman
Tim Fairchild, founder of Linden Outdoorsman Bushcraft & Wellbeing, brings together more than 20 years of experience in healthcare with a lifelong passion for nature, traditional skills and the outdoors.
Based in the South of England, Tim delivers engaging bushcraft, outdoor education and wilderness wellbeing experiences for children, young people and adults. His approach is all about getting people outside, learning practical skills, connecting with nature and discovering the positive impact that time spent outdoors can have on our wellbeing.
Through Linden Outdoorsman, Tim runs bushcraft courses, woodland conservation projects and wellbeing sessions, sharing practical knowledge of traditional skills such as fire lighting, natural materials, foraging and woodland craft.
At All Things Fungi Festival, Tim will be bringing his hands-on approach to the festival programme, exploring the fascinating relationship between people, fungi and the natural world through practical, engaging workshops.
Whether you’re completely new to bushcraft or simply curious to learn something new, Tim’s workshops are designed to be relaxed, accessible and — most importantly — fun.
Learn skills. Connect with nature. Leave feeling inspired.
We’re excited to welcome the following incredible contributors to this year’s All Things Fungi Festival.
