Smithy

Smithy has been growing and making art with trees for 30 years, and 25 years ago he began growing medicinal mushrooms for tinctures to support health and wellbeing. After years of experimentation with growing different strains he has recently applied his artistic skills to his mushroom cultivation. He loves that he can draw upon his Bonsai experience, especially the planning and patience, to style certain mushrooms by manipulating their growing environments. He now creates fungal art that can be preserved to make beautiful pieces in the home.Smithy will be displaying some of his Reishi sculptures and sharing growing tips to show how easy they are to grow at home.
