The Wildbiome Project Panel Talk & Q&A: living on 100% wild food
What would happen if you lived solely on a foraged wild diet? Join us for a unique exploration into the world of wild food as we hear from intrepid foragers who participated in The Wildbiome Project 2025- a radical citizen science research study initiated and led by Monica Wilde which saw participants living on wild food for either 1 or 3 months.
This talk will be introduced and facilitated by Gemma Hindi, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with Fergus Drennan, Lisa Cutcliffe, Richard Mawby and Kit Oonjaatje-Rolls.
There will also be an sensory display table for you to see, touch, smell or taste the wild fungi and plants participants relied upon whilst on the Project. Andrene Alejandro, Isobel Openshaw, and Ru Kenyon will be on hand to answer your questions about wild food processing and creating fully wild recipes.
Could you live on 100% wild food for 3 months for science? Come along to find out about upcoming plans for 2026.
