Seb Amys (Urban Forage)

Born and raised in Brighton, Im a foraging teacher and community gardener committed to finding more sustainable practices in the modern world. I never have expected to find the fungi that I have around my local area, but my life was truly changed when I happened upon my first truffle! I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time but an affinity was born. I spent the next few years learning everything I could about truffles and although I wasn't able to get a dog , I decided to train myself instead. Although I'm not as successful as my canine friends I've used what I know (and a flying friend) to locate many a ripe truffle and I say that with enough knowledge, passion and commitment anyone can find themselves one! During my foray I will be teaching how to find the right area, the right trees and finally the right spot for finding not just truffles but many other of the most revered fungi on the planet.
